Responsible Gaming

Pistol is committed to ensuring that gambling is a form of entertainment and not a means for financial gain. Engaging in online pokies should be an enjoyable activity, and it is vital that players approach it with a clear understanding that it is purely for leisure purposes. Gambling should never be seen as a source of income or a solution to financial challenges.

Self-Control Tools

Pistol provides various self-control tools designed to promote responsible gambling. These tools enable players to manage their gaming activities effectively and foster a safe online environment. Available options include:

Deposit Limits: Players can set daily, weekly, or monthly limits on the amount they are willing to deposit. This helps to control spending and allows for healthier gaming habits.
Loss Limits: This feature allows players to establish maximum loss amounts within specified time frames. Once the limit is reached, they cannot continue to gamble until the period resets.
Wagering Limits: Players can set limits on the amount they wager within a given timeframe. This tool helps to manage the pace of play and financial exposure.
Session Time Limits: Players have the option to set limits on how long they can engage in gaming sessions. This encourages breaks and helps prevent extended periods of play without reflection.
Cooling-Off Periods: If players feel the need to take a break, they can opt for a cooling-off period. During this time, their accounts will be temporarily suspended, allowing for a reset and reflection on their gaming habits.
Self-Exclusion Options: Players can choose to exclude themselves from the platform for a defined period. This is a critical step for individuals who recognize that they may need a more extended break from gambling activities.

Self-Assessment

Pistol encourages players to periodically reflect on their gambling behavior. A structured list of questions can help individuals identify early signs of problematic gambling and promote self-awareness:

Do I often feel the need to gamble more to achieve the same excitement?
Have I ever tried to control, cut back, or stop gambling without success?
Do I feel restless or irritable when attempting to reduce my gambling?
Do I frequently think about gambling, even when I am not playing?
Have I ever gambled to escape from stress or other negative feelings?
Do I often chase losses by continuing to gamble in hopes of recovering my money?
Have I noticed a decline in my personal relationships due to gambling?
Am I secretive about my gambling habits or hide the extent of my play from others?

Recognizing the answers to these questions can provide valuable insight into gambling behavior and help players take proactive steps if needed.

Protection of Minors

Pistol takes the protection of minors seriously and implements rigorous safeguards to prevent underage access to online pokies. Key measures include:

Age Verification: All players must provide accurate information regarding their age during the registration process. This ensures that only individuals of legal gambling age are permitted to participate.
Know Your Customer (KYC) Checks: Pistol employs stringent KYC protocols to verify the identity of players. This process includes documentation checks to ensure compliance with legal age requirements.
